Usability testing

I sent out a survey to test compatibility and usability which contained questions that would help me determine if the site contained any bugs or compatibility issues

Compatibility

Below are a few different browsers that i have tried the website on:

Google Chrome

Microsoft Edge

Mozilla Firefox

Any errors or admissions

I collected results from the survey and determined that there werent any compatibility issues between mobile devices and pc ,I asked this in particular to ensure that users would be able to access the site on whichever device they may have access to

Correcting faults

Based on my recommendations and feedback section in my survey i was able to come to a conclusion and decide on what could be changed or made different to enhance the users site experience and also make it more professional in general, some comments were acted upon and some were outside of my control .

The proofreading comment was important therefore i checked it and corrected the typographical errors that i found in the paragraphs and asked people to proofread it

A Socials bar was added to the footer and it contained all my social links

In the mobile view there was the heading photographer/digital designer which was changed to only photographer

Does the artefact meet the needs of the client and user

As the client of this project i would like to say that I have satisfied all the requirements that i have set for myself and the requirements i have set for myself have been met

Needs/requirements such as -

-The artefact was to be a website which will be used to represent myself and my brand to showcase my work to potential clientele/employers.

-A fully responsive and interactive website which is accessible and usable on different screen mediums such as Desktop, Tablet and Mobile.

-A logo including my name which will be imported into the website/branding.

-Professional social media profiles which will have to be created and updated to showcase my work and also important info about me.

-Owning a personal domain name to connect the website so it makes it official and professional.

In terms of the needs of the user who accesses the website and navigates through it, they also will have needs/requirements for accessing this website.

Needs/requirements such as -

-Accessible/usable on different screen sizes/devices and browsers.

-Clear navigation and structure throughout the site.

-Easy to access relevant information such as contact options available on all pages within the footer.

-Ability to view my showcased work on the web site.

-Links to all of my current social media accounts and a live preview on my site.

I think that the artefact has met all the needs and requirements of both the client and the users and would be updated from time to time to always meet their expectations
